Sort and group with AI

Use AI Sort & Group on the Faceting tab to have an AI agent propose an ordering and grouping for the current facet.
  1. Open the attribute and go to the Faceting tab.
  2. Click AI Sort & Group.
  3. Watch as the agent applies its ordering and groups to the editor. The change lands as an unsaved draft — nothing is published to your storefront yet.
  4. Review the result and adjust anything you want to change by dragging values or editing groups.
  5. Click Save to publish the draft to your storefront, or discard it to start over.
While the agent is working, it appears in the editor’s real-time collaboration presence row as the “AI Sort & Group” agent. Teammates on the same facet see the ordering update live. The agent never saves on its own — a human always makes the final call.

Tips

  • Put the most popular or helpful options near the top.
  • Keep ordering consistent across related facets where possible.
  • For very large facets with thousands of values, an AI run may need a follow-up pass — review the draft and adjust manually before saving.
