Finding a sequence
Use the search bar at the top of the sequences list to search by product title or collection handle. You can also filter by sort order to narrow the list.Steps
- Go to Sequences and select the sequence you want to change.
- Update the name, collection, or sort order if needed.
- Add or remove products as needed.
- Drag to reorder the items.
- Add, update, or remove conditions in the Conditions section.
- Save.
Editing conditions
You can update a sequence’s conditions at any time. After saving, Layers re-evaluates the conditions against all products in the group and updates the sequence status to Active or Draft accordingly. To remove all conditions from a sequence, clear every rule in the condition builder and save. The sequence will return to Active status immediately.Draft products
Draft (unpublished) products in a sequence are marked with a Draft badge so you can easily identify them. You can add or remove draft products just like active ones. Keep in mind that a sequence requires at least 2 active (published) products to appear on your storefront. If publishing status changes cause the active count to drop below 2, the sequence moves to Draft status automatically.Product conflict detection
A product can only belong to one sequence per collection. If you try to add a product that already exists in another sequence for the same collection, Layers displays an error message identifying the conflicting products. You need to remove the product from the other sequence first before adding it to a new one. This restriction applies per collection — the same product can appear in sequences for different collections without conflict.Deleting a sequence
- Go to Sequences and select the sequence you want to remove.
- Click Delete and confirm. The products are released and can be added to other sequences immediately.
