Overview
The Billing page shows the Shopify subscription that pays for your Layers installation. Use it to confirm your current plan, check status, and accept a pending charge if Shopify has not activated your subscription yet. This page is available only on managed installations that have a Shopify billing plan attached. If your store is invoiced directly or installed outside Shopify’s managed billing, the Billing entry does not appear in Settings. What you see
The page summarizes your active subscription with:- Plan name — the name of the Shopify charge that funds your Layers install.
- Status —
Active,Accepted,Pending,Declined,Cancelled, orFailed. - Recurring charge — the amount and currency billed each cycle.
- Cadence —
Every 30 daysorAnnual. - Trial — number of trial days remaining, when applicable.

Accept a pending charge
If Shopify created the subscription but has not activated it, the status shows Pending and the page displays an Accept in Shopify button.- Go to Settings → Billing in the Layers dashboard.
- Select Accept in Shopify. Shopify opens in a new tab.
- Approve the recurring charge in your Shopify admin.
- Return to the Billing page and refresh. The status updates to Active once Shopify confirms the charge.
Tips
- Changes to your plan are managed through Shopify or your Layers account manager, not from this page.
- Failed or cancelled subscriptions can interrupt access to Layers. Contact support if your status remains Failed after retrying.
Next steps
