The Products list supports column filters on Status and Type. Use them to jump straight to the subset of your catalog you care about — active products in a specific type, drafts that need review, or archived items you’re auditing — without paging through the full list.
When to use this
- You want to review every draft or archived product before a launch.
- You’re looking at a single product family (for example, Shoes or Accessories) and want to hide everything else.
- You need to find a product to view its details or resync it from Shopify, and typing the title isn’t enough.
Steps
- In the dashboard, go to Products.
- Open the filter control in the Status column header and select Active, Draft, or Archived.
- Open the filter control in the Type column header and select a product type from the list. Start typing to search when your catalog has many types.
- (Optional) Combine both filters — for example, Status: Draft and Type: Shoes — to narrow further.
- Click a product row to open its details page.
To clear a filter, reopen its control and remove the selected value. Clearing all filters returns the list to its default view.
What each filter does
- Status — Matches the product’s Shopify status. Products stay in whichever bucket Shopify last reported: Active (published and available), Draft (not yet published), or Archived (removed from active selling).
- Type — Matches Shopify’s Product type field. The dropdown only shows types that actually appear in your store’s catalog, so an empty result means no products in this store carry that type.
Filters combine with sort and search on the list. Sort by Inventory with Status: Active to spot low-stock items that customers can currently buy.
