Facet value sorting lets you control the display order of values within a filter to match your merchandising strategy.
You do not have to use groups to use sorting - custom sorting works independently of grouping.

Reordering Facet Values

Step 1: Access the Faceting Tab

  1. Navigate to the Attributes section in your Layers dashboard
  2. Select the attribute you want to manage
  3. Click on the Faceting tab

Step 2: Reorder Individual Facet Values

  1. In the facet values list, locate the value you want to reposition
  2. Use the drag handles to the left of each value to move it up or down in the list
  3. The new order will be reflected in your storefront immediately after saving

Step 3: Save Your Changes

After arranging your facet values in the desired order, click the Save button to apply your changes.
The order you set here will be maintained across all collection pages where this facet is displayed.

  • Keep consistent ordering across related facets where possible
  • Review periodically based on customer behavior and seasonality
