The Evaluate feature provides a set of tools to test and preview your search results, collection pages, and product recommendations before deploying changes to your live storefront.
Overview
Evaluate Pages allow you to:
- Test text search queries and see how your products rank
- Upload images to test Visual Search results
- Preview collection pages with different Sort Orders
- Test “shop similar” functionality by selecting products and viewing related items
Text Search Evaluation
The Text Search evaluation page allows you to test search queries and see how your products rank in the results.
Features
- Enter any search query to see real-time results
- Apply filters to narrow down results

Image Search Evaluation
The Image Search evaluation page allows you to upload images and see which products in your catalog match visually.

- Upload any image to find visually similar products
- Adjust Visual Search parameters to fine-tune results

Collections Evaluation
The Collections evaluation page allows you to preview how your collection pages will appear with different Sort Orders.

The Similar Products evaluation page allows you to test the “shop similar” functionality by selecting products and viewing related items.

Getting Started
Access the Evaluate feature through the main navigation menu in your Layers dashboard. Each evaluation page provides intuitive controls for testing different aspects of your product discovery experience.
