# Navigate settings

> Find and open every store configuration page in Layers — search behavior, facets, team, API access, and pixels — from the central settings overview.

The **Settings** area is your central hub for configuring your store. It includes a searchable overview page and a collapsible sidebar that organizes every settings page into categories.

## Settings overview

When you open **Settings**, you land on the overview page. This page displays all available settings as categorized cards, so you can quickly find the page you need.

Each card shows a title and a short description. Click any card to go directly to that settings page.

## Settings categories

Settings are organized into the following groups:

| Category               | What it covers                                                                              |
| ---------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **General**            | Shop information, integrations, and pixel/storefront configuration                          |
| **Search & Discovery** | Search behavior, merchandising rules, sequences, request transforms, and semantic redirects |
| **Data & Sync**        | Shopify sync, metafields and metaobjects, and sample data                                   |
| **Access & Security**  | API access, team members and invites, privacy center, and billing                           |

## Sidebar navigation

A sidebar appears on every settings page. It mirrors the same categories as the overview and lets you jump between pages without returning to the overview.

* Click a category name to expand or collapse its group. The active category expands automatically.
* Use the search field at the top of the sidebar to filter pages across all categories.
