# Manually resync a single product

> Manually resync a single product in Layers to refresh its title, variants, inventory, and metafields without reindexing the rest of your catalog.

## When to use this

* You updated a product in Shopify and the changes are not appearing in Layers.
* Inventory levels for a product are out of sync.
* Product variants, metafields, or collections need to be refreshed.

## Steps

1. In the dashboard, go to **Catalog**.
2. Find the product in the list and click the actions menu (three dots).
3. Click **Sync from Shopify**.
4. Wait for the sync to complete, then review the product details.

## What gets synced

* Product data (title, description, images, etc.)
* All product variants
* Variant metafields
* Product collections
* Inventory levels across all locations (if inventory sync is enabled)

## Tips

* Use this when only one product changed to save time.
* The sync respects your store's inventory sync settings and permissions.
